Our world church is structured with individual churches, conferences, divisions and the General Conference. The Virginia Beach Seventh-day Adventist Church is a part of the Potomac Conference of Seventh-day Adventists which is a part of the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists, a division of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

Adventist Community Services–"Adventist® Community Services is the non-profit, humanitarian agency for the Seventh-day Adventist Church® that works within North America, including Guam and Micronesia through more than 1,100 localities and upholds the beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist® World Church organization."1
The Adventist Development & Relief Agency (ADRA)–"The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) was started by the Seventh-day Adventist Church as a way to follow Christ’s example of serving and caring for those in need. Put simply, ADRA improves the lives of people around the world. The agency searches out deprivation, social injustice, and need—then works to eliminate them."2
Biblical Research Institute–"The Biblical Research Institute staff exists to promote the study and practice of Adventist theology and lifestyle as understood by the world church."3
The White Estate–"The Ellen G. White® Estate, Incorporated, is an organization created by the last will and testament of Ellen G. White to act as her agent in the custody of her writings, handling her properties, 'conducting the business thereof,' 'securing the printing of new translations,' and the 'printing of compilations from my manuscripts.'"4
Official Adventist Directory of Churches–"The Adventist Organizational Directory provides an organizational locator and standard reference for Adventist organizations and entities worldwide."5
